Kampa Dometic CROSS AIR TG Drive-away Awning 2021

The Cross Air VW T/G is a new drive-away awning for the 2021 season, it is based on one of Kampa’s best selling awnings but in an-all new Tail Gate Version. The awning feels like a gazebo for your vehicle but with the flexibility to add additional annexes on either side to accommodate guests or to create extra living area. With Kampa’s Multi-Point Inflation System you can get the awning pitched easier within 10 minutes as seen in our pitching videos of similar models.
A deeper attachment tunnel means that the tailgate of your vehicle can be lifted up inside the awning to create a seamless enclosure from van to awning. Crystal clear PVC windows offer plenty of light in the awning but toggle-up privacy curtains can be used to hide the contents of the awning when you drive-away. The tunnel has a uniquely designed adjustable system without any Kador meaning the material can fit snuggly around the roof and side of the vehicle. Webbing & pulley straps help the tunnel to take shape and stop the elements from coming into the awning while longer straps stretch to the front of the van. Two red oversized hooks clip onto the wheel arch either side to pull the tunnel sides close to the bodywork. Kampa’s Cross Air also has a brow canopy on the front entrance which helps to shelter the door from the elements as well as allow ventilation. The main ‘D’ shaped door can be rolled half or fully back to open up the awning on a warm day.
