Thanks to the double floor, the inside of the tent is also better insulated against the cold at night from below. In addition, the tent pad protects against condensation and prevents less moisture from rising into the tent from the ground. The tent does not need long drying times before dismantling and packing and the tent can be comfortably erected and dismantled on the tent base. The dirty and wet tent pad can easily be stored in the separate pannier supplied. The tent itself can be stowed more easily and, above all, cleaner after dismantling.
Application:
The precisely fitting underlay is laid out on the ground in front of the actual tent and the tent is simply plugged into the eyelets provided, then the tent and underlay are fixed with pegs at the same time. For better orientation which corner belongs to each other, a loop was colored red on the trekking tent and on the tent pad. So it is immediately clear where what belongs. The stable and resistant polyethylene material of the base is durable and particularly robust.
