Qeedo Quick Base Connector for Roof Tent (choice model)

Connect your roof tent with Quick Base!
Whether Fast, Family, Light, Compact or Slim, connect your roof tent. There are two options for each of our roof tent models: For a vehicle with a height of 140 to 185 cm (Low) or for a vehicle height of 186 to 230 cm (Tall).
Especially if you are traveling with a roof tent, you still need a kind of base in front of the car. Here you can cook, relax in your camping furniture and have space and quick access to important items.
With the Quick Base Connector you can easily and quickly connect your roof tent to your Quick Base. The lock can be zipped off the Quick Base in no time at all. Day trips are no problem. The Quick Base Connector is equipped with numerous features so that you can set it up and take it down quickly.
The so-called connector represents the sluice between the roof tent and the awning and has a piping connection to the roof tent and a zipper in the direction of the awning. All Qeedo roof tents already have a built-in piping rail at the entrance area, which is required for this connection. The illustrated instructions are printed on a firmly sewn fabric on the transport bag.

Installation:
Once the roof tent is set up, it is best to stand on the ladder and thread the piping of the connector into the piping rail of the roof tent from one side. In this way you can pull the tarpaulin of the sluice piece by piece over the entire entrance of the roof tent. Then you connect the lock to the tent with the mentioned zipper. If this is closed, the rod can also be pushed into the side eyelets. This nicely lifts the transition to the roof tent.
Now you can also choose the perfect distance from the awning to the roof tent.
In order to connect the lower area properly, you thread two more tent toggles into a fabric strap on the tent side. On the roof tent side, a strap is attached to the roof tent under the piping rail on each side. This has a plastic clip so it can be opened quickly when you want to drive away. Then you can use T-pegs on the ground to stretch the connector as close to the car as you want. In the lower part of the tarpaulin, the hem consists of an elastic band, which is why it can be individually adapted to the respective vehicle. Since the awning is now in the correct position, it can now be diligently secured using the T-Pegs. Complete!
