In addition, the tent pad protects against condensation and prevents less moisture from rising into the tent from the ground. So the tent does not need long drying times before dismantling and packing. The dirty and wet tent pad can easily be stored in the separate packing bag provided. The tent itself can be stowed more easily and, above all, cleaner after dismantling.
The tent pad is also helpful to better determine the positioning of the tent on the pitch.
So that the Quick Villa 5 or Quick Motor stands correctly on its tent base afterwards, 1 anchoring point was colored red on the groundsheet and the tent. So you know which corners belong together.
Application
The perfectly fitting underlay is laid out on the ground in front of the actual tent and the tent is simply set up on top of it, then the tent and underlay are fixed at the same time with pegs. The stable and resistant polyethylene material of the base is durable and particularly robust. The tent pad alone can also help to find the right place for the tent, or to mark it on the campsite.
